I feel like something is about to happen and nothing can stop it. My finger nails grow, and I could only cut them. Last night this was part of a dream inside another dream, framed within another dream next to a dream. Water meets water, one shelf above another. He was always like a hungry dog and it made me feel sick. So this way of arranging the water is a compromise for the both of us. Red is inside orange, part magenta and close to purple. Wouldn’t it be easier if the whole world was just colored black? Yes, stop it.

Dennis Ha was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Richmond, BC. His recent interests include sandbags, the color checker, compact discs, fake foods, product catalogues and so on. This is the artist’s first show at Blim in which he will exhibit photographs and an installation, along with a music performance.
