Blim presents:

Blim Guest Series—Cowl Scarf Making Workshop

Saturday March 21 | 2 – 5 PM | $65 (includes materials)
Featuring: Janna Nygren

This is a foundational knitting class with a fashion twist. I believe that using superb yarn is the key to success with knitting, so in this class you will learn how to knit a fashionable cowl scarf using the softest chunky hand-spun merino wool (white or hand-dyed by me). What’s included? 4 hour class, materials included: 12mm needles, 112 grams of chunky hand-spun, hand-dyed merino yarn (colours to choose from), and a beautiful pair of wooden buttons.

Janna is currently a full-time student in the textiles program at Capilano University. Since yarn and colour are her two passions, it is only natural that Janna has been working hard toward opening an online yarn store featuring her own creations. She currently juggles full-time school, production dying at The Raw studio (a local community textiles studio), maintaining her baby, VancouverYarn.com, the online yarn directory for the lower mainland, and of course knitting as much as possible in between.
