Tigerhead was born out of a desire to create something new and interesting for young audiences while at the same time stimulate and exercise the musicians involved. Tigerhead’s sound is based primarily upon pre-recorded samples, euphoric ambience and highly technical syncopation. The band consists of Ellis Sam (acousmatics, noise, bass guitar and vocals), Samuel Dzierzawa (guitar and vocals), MacRae Lawrie (drums) and Jonathan Scherk (acousmatics, guitar, bass guitar and vocals). Tigerhead is based in Vancouver, B.C.
