“For his Masters degree at Simon Fraser University, Rick Gibson developed a technique for making large format 3D lenticular prints. He now uses this medium to extend his previous works in holography, performance art and sculpture.”
“In this current exhibition, he uses a new digital imaging technique to permanently project a two-dimensional image onto a three-dimensional shape. The final picture shows a 3D form that appears to float in space. Visitors to the gallery will not need to wear special glasses to appreciate his art works.”
“Thematically, Gibson has used this technology to pay homage to six prominent religious leaders.”
