nUmt (pronounced new might)
Completely fictional and completely awesome, this electronic duo live within a television/web series entitled ‘Ariel Erisian’, slated for an early fall web launch. This band plays Ratatat like beats mixed with Daft Punk synth lines. Managed by their longtime friend, Natalie Wood, the duo are amidst an adventure led by a mysterious and mischievous mermaid. On the cusp of notoriety in the music scene, nUmt are about to embark on a state and province side tour with Florida band ‘Kinetica’. A wild band that always delivers with a zany rhythm, nUmt will please your eyes and ears.

Filip Gorecki
Filip Gorecki is an emerging electronic music producer who’s fascinated with song structures based on sound exploration and storytelling. The recent release of his first album ‘Subaqueous Works’ gave it’s listeners a taste of his ambition. Producing music that is dark in it’s investigation yet brilliant and refreshing in it’s subject matter. Performing livePA with only a few pieces of gear, Gorecki masterfully executes original live sample sets for your listening pleasure. Born in Warsaw Poland, Filip immigrated to Canada with his parents two years before the Berlin Wall fell. Filip’s Grandfather, Maciek Sniegocki was a popular musician and composer in Poland who had his pop songs played on the radio. Filip’s own interests in music have been influenced by his stepfather who played Brian Eno and the like during multiple cross Canada camping trips. After learning percussion, playing drums in rock bands and taking bass guitar lessons, Filip bought a drum machine and never looked back.

Adrian Yee as Hong Kong Soap Operas
A force of sonic explosion while holding steady grooves down is the easiest way to describe Hong Kong Soap Operas. The hardest way might take you till this young phenom’s career is over, which might be never at this rate. Adrian Yee of Vancouver band ‘The Barcelona Chair’ is at the helm of this solo endeavor and has been wowing the underground scene at Fake Jazz Wednesdays, Quiet City & Carte Blache music nights. The range of sound that HKSP brings to eat set is astounding, getting lost in a tapestry of beats and droney soundscapes.
