Blim presents:
Creative People, ADAM KADMON, Big EviL
Saturday November 5 | 8 PM – 12 AM | $5–10 (sliding scale)
Creative People: creativepeople.bandcamp.com @ 9PM
There’s been a lot building up to Creative People. Years of repeated trials and relentless hardships have had a Darwinian effect on the music production of The Creative People. You may call it weird, you may call it upsetting, you may even call it disturbing, offensive, unpleasant, and borderline misogynistic, but there one thing you can’t call creative people and that is creative.
ADAM KADMON: soundcloud.com/adam-kadmon-music @10PM
A three piece dance-punk act from Vancouver, bass, drums, and vocals reverberate to cast prophetic spells of child-like wonderment. A love affair with the beginning of time and the end of the world. A sexual encounter with primal sounds.
Big EviL: www.facebook.com/#!/BigEviLMusic @11PM
Big Evil were forged by a master craftsman in the depths of a volcano, designed solely to provide music that is both large-scale and devoid of good intentions. An anonymous source has stated that Big Evil are “possibly one of the greatest avant-garde funk bands to form in Vancouver so far this year.” All of their songs are about fire, and they do their own choreography.
